WHY ATTEND THESE CLASSES?

We are in an effort to springboard financial literacy classes in our community to help children develop smarter decision-making habits. Learning personal finance at an early age allows children to get in the habit of budgeting and using money wisely.

WHO IS TEACHING THIS WORKSHOP?

The workshop will be taught by highschoolers, Riddhi Somani (Junior) and Arushi Gautam (Senior). Riddhi is a personal finance curriculum developer and has previously taught personal finance at the middle school level. Arushi has a keen interest in Economics and has taken several college-level courses to understand the subject.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP?

The workshop is open to all ages, however, our curriculum is mainly targetted towards middle schoolers. We will be covering the basics of bank accounts, budgeting, and decision-making.
